Well, nothing came from the Aniboom Motion Comics comp but I got what I needed out of it in terms of experimentation and grasping the challenge of the medium, where that distinct boundary is between Motion Comics and Crap Animation.

As of right now plans are to wrap up all the loose projects by the turn of the year, which includes the finalising of the 2010 Horrorscope zodiac forecasts, reports, and so on. And as a sneak peek of an artwork I am giving excessive attention to, move your eyeballs to the right. This is just a detail of a much larger picture. This piece will also end up as the first proper Progressus S2 episode... with narration of some sort.

Phase 1 of the Aniboom Motion Comics comp came and went. My entries didn't make it as finalists, so I finished off the Wolverine entry for the Phase 2 Wildcard draw, just for the satisfaction of finishing it off really. You can check it out here:

It's been awhile since the last site update, and plenty has been going on, just not much I can show though:

Recently I put together 2 entries for a Motion Comics competition over at Aniboom. The requirements were for the first 7 pages of the story to be... put to motion. It was a thoroughly intriguing project to think about. I went ahead and tried my hand at the 2 stories on offer because they were so at odds with eachother (one was fast and action packed, the other slow with a focus on exposition).

That erotic art book thang is finally in print. You can pre-order your copy of THE WORLD'S GREATEST EROTIC ART OF TODAY - VOL. 3 now, and it will have one of my pieces in there (Amor Armour I).

In news that I can't show anything for yet... I put together a micro animation for another festival competition before that (during August), but we'll see what happens with that. Selections haven't been announced yet. I've also been working, on and off, on an all out sub-site design which will serve as the webshop precence for RockErode Productions and this, The Love Cult. That means I will finally have a means of offering limited edition prints for sale online, with plans to include originals, and more and more.

Next to come will be the next machinima episode in D1p5h1t, the Nubb13.com campaign against computer culture!... and this shop sub-site.

What a tumultuous time these past two months have been. To celebrate the most recent batch of humanity that keep my furnace of misanthropic flames burning, oh so strong, I hereby unveil a new animation/side-project:

Starting with D1p5h1t, a parody of those incredibly vapid "I'm a PC... and I'm a Mac" advertisments. Been done before you might say? I don't care, I'm just venting my contempt for "computer culture" at large... it makes me feel tingly all over, and that's all that matters.

AND... having hit the mid year mark, Custom 2009 Zodiac Reports from the Horrorscope are now marked down to less than half price.

It just wouldn't be the same if murphy's law stopped screwing with me.

Animation pushed back abit, but there is some other, happier news.

Also started work on a 2nd animation project, because I like to make things even more difficult... some new art shows to announce. And I am trying to get another inkwork done before I return my attention back upon some animated nuttery.

Quick update to mention that work has begin on a short film (it will probably end up under 2 minutes in length).

It's a 100% time eater this one and is on the lighter, comedic side.

... And there have been some minor delays in getting the Horrorscope 2009 reports ready and up for sale. They are coming soon. In the meantime some further maintenance has been going on, I figured out how to embed YouTube videos in HD quality. You can now choose between SD (Standard Definition) and HD (High Definition) for the 2009 Zodiac forecasts over on the Film page. I will take the time to reupload all other vids including the 2008 forecasts to YouTube in HD.

First up in production this year will be some product planning for the Horrorscope. Namely a more indepth and personal zodiac report for 2009 to start things off...coming this month, January!

Just a quick update to round out 2008. The Horrorscope website, as well as the 2009 Zodiac forecasts are currently in production and will be up and out around new year's day.

A bunch of site changes have been made. Somewhat minor, yet important improvements to the Film / Making Of / Shop sections here at the Love Cult, but some significant overhauling has been done over at RockErode Productions.

To go along with these changes, the latest Progressus animation is now online for the War of The Wisps artwork.

Beyond that, lots to do while fending off the usual cronies of Murphy's law

4 new pinups are up in the Erotika section. The series is called IREZUMI, and numbers ONE, TWO, FIVE and SIX are what I have added.

There is also a shirt available through Zazzle of the Irezumi 5 design.. in 2 variations: Alabaster and Cocoa.

I really dig this series and plan on doing a LOT of them as time goes by.

Lots of new art in the works. I have put one up in the Erotika section as a taste of what I am working on. Animation/film stuff is on hold at the moment because I have hit a demand for pinups, and I am grooving on some particularly cool looking ideas. This piece is the first in a new series called Sari Girls.

Several new convention artshow dates added to the Upcoming Events little thingy below on the screen. There will be a smattering of lovely mini-prints at each of these shows.

After a long, long time sitting around, the wisps image has been picked up and finished and entitled War of The Wisps. Very different from how I had originally envisioned it when I did the basic linework way back in 2003 (or so). This also counts as the first image to go into the Battles gallery under Artwork.

There's a new con art show date up for MarCon... And I am quite pleased to mention that Treenie's Horrorscope has been gaining a little notoriety, and today it even won a Site of The Week award for xonrad.com from:

I say undesirable NOT because Revver suck, they don't, they're better than ever actually... I say it because it is such a shame that the stage6/DivX site is shutting down. It sure was nice having big widescreen vids on display...

... But it ain't the end of the world!!!

I call it Death Speaks - Love, and I will do several more with Death sharing his insight into whatever season or 'topic' that he feels like sharing. The 2nd ecard mentioned last update has been postponed for now.

The Horrorscopes went up over at HDgreetings.com recently, so you can now send them to whoever you like (or dislike) as an Ecard.

Beyond this work continues on some new animations, 2 specifically ecard anims will be done in the next couple of weeks..

RockErode Productions has finally been updated. The Propaganda section added to for 2007, as well as the Film section here... 2007 is up there too. MySpace and Trig profiles updated too.

The Horrorscope has been uploaded and are live to all the other vid sites, with the exception of AtomUploads, maybe soon, maybe not. Out of my hands there.

So what now? I'll figured that out tomorrow, right now I want to enjoy the 'major updates of doom are finally done" glow.

The volume of change kicking off this year pretty much equals that of 2007. Firstly, you will see 3 new items added to the menu over on the left. One of those is the Horrorscope Yearly Forecast for 2008. Every star sign animation is on that page for your enlightenment. Also a new link to SUPPORT THE TROOPS OF ARMAGEDDON via a PayPal Donation... just one way to actively support online content like the Horrorscope... as well as a direct link to the Zazzle store.

Which brings me to the Shop portion of the site. 2 new sections have been opened. After a long wait, I present prints available online through Zazzle. The much sought after Runic Artwork is now available, as well as some Photo Art prints too.

The clothing section is being restarted (away from CafePress) with the Crimson Delights shirt the only design on offer as of the first few days of 2008... through Zazzle.

And the Paraphernalia section has been opened. That will entail mugs, mousepads, keychains, magnets... stuff like that. Some Photo Art mugs and a Heap of Horrorscope mugs and mousepads (so far).... gear up with your zodiac sign, or as a gift for a friend you want to see succeed in life. Again, through Zazzle.

And, and.... huge site updates like this are exhausting AND exhasperating. Next to be done will be the Film Summary for 2007 here, and the general sprucing up of RockErode Productions (along with the corresponding Propaganda section).

Welcome to the new year, 2008. First update has got to be quick. The HORRORSCOPE animations are up at REVVER at the moment, soon to come to other video sites.

I am currently setting up Horrorscope merchandise at Zazzle, so it'll be another day or so before a proper update can be done for The Love Cult of XONRAD and RockErode Productions.

On the 7^th day of X-mas... Puckfist - An Open Letter to: The Yule Tide Mafia has been uploaded (a couple of days ago) and the quest to subvert the season is under way. (also viewable in the Film section)

Right now it is Featured on the front page over at AtomUploads, and was Clip of The Day for the 5^th, while also uploaded to the other usual vid sites

Some funky other little anims along with an astrological forecast for 2008 are in the works and will be completed by the end of the month/year.

After a long wait, I finally have some new animation to share. Here is the 'just finished' opening title sequence to Puckfist.

More of this trio of terror is to come but first I will be stepping away from animation and the general insanity of crashing puters for the next couple of weeks to get some normal artwork done... and generally enjoy the initial spawning of Puckfist.

Also, WindyCon has been added to the con artshows that will round out the end of the year.

Finally back online with some new art for the site and some major rearrangements in production direction for RockErode Productions. First the new art:

As for the animated film projects. Timmy and Smiley have been put on hold due to a rise in surrounding miscreant activity. Two emergency reserve concepts are taking their place, and presendence over the current Cutting Room project.

Oh yeah, and 2 new con art shows have been added. MileHiCon and LosCon. :-)

Firstly, new con dates are listed for June and July.

And 2 new pieces of art added, which will be up for auction at Comic Con in San Diego this July. Let The Hunt Begin, which I am VERY happy with, and Gryphon Territory, which is still nifty, but it isn't a hot elven sorceress with a pet dragon.

Also, I have uploaded a new little bit of making of style animation. The little skull you can see when you rollover the Clothing circle upon the pentagram in the Shop section... this is a rough video capture of the creation of that skull in Photoshop. Check it out at Revver HERE.

And I daresay this might be my last update for 2, maybe 3 months yet, so... we shall see. Until I am next able to enlighten the cult. ;-)

First up to mention, The Terrific Menace of the Invaders from Audiogalaxy. I helped to edit the english translation of this very cool adventure game. It is FREE to play, just click on the link and you can play the it right in your browser (it was made in Flash), or download it to play offline. A classic point & click adventure game like the ones from the early golden age of PC gaming. Great humour... check it out!

Also, 2 new runic artworks. Well actually they were done back in 2005, but I only had a chance to scan them up the other day. Enkindle and Speaking in Tongues.

Some progress to show in the work being done for the Cutting Room animation as well, but that is only on display for those subscribed to the mailing list.

Work has begun on what I have chosen to be the first Full Edition artwork for the Progressus series too... so the building of that is being recorded and will end up, as far as online exhibition is concerned, split into multiple parts... probably 6, maybe 8 parts/episodes. It all depends on how much making of material there is to work with, and what kind of interesting commentary twists I can come up with.

I have also been spending some time putting together some promo stuff... looking into WebSEO things and tweaking my sites that little bit more, updating Theresa Mather's site too (new pretty banners to link to her site now)... I've finally set up MySpace profiles for The Love Cult and The Fire Label. Also a single account at the much prettier and nicer new alternative to MySpace, which is called Trig!

You can see to the bottom right of this update more banners for that little subwindow have been added. And to the left there are 2 new con dates announced. :-)

A bunch of new stuff added this week. The aforementioned "Super Orgy" is finally done and DONE. WARNING: The following link will take you directly into the Erotika section and to the explicit image of Hedonism 1.

That along with 2 video uploads. DEVINCO: Epilogue is finally online, you can watch it in the Film section (it's up at RockErode.com as well). AND the first in the NEW, Series II of Progressus animations. The Progressus Lite of Amor Armour 3, on display in the Making Of section.

A new artwork. Amor Armour 3 has been added to the Erotika section. I will be adding to the Making Of section in the coming week (and it will be a little look at this new Amor image). A new Progressus series will be started too, and like the Making Of, the first will be of this new piece. I will be uploading that for general viewing too, in the coming weeks.

Next artwork to come will be the laboured Super Orgy artwork... that's the working title because it's so big. After that it'll be back to some non-erotic imagery though, and more other stuff too.

Ahhh... The Film section for this site and the Propaganda & Campaign sections over at RockErode Productions now have some meat in them. That should make for alot of entertaining reading.

I will be get around to opening the Making Of section here by the end of the month, but for now, I have had more than enough of messing with these websites, now to get back to painting and project 'doing' for abit.

Welcome to the new year people. 2007, a year that marks the beginning of a new era, the dawn of a reawakening. The major change you will find here is a total redesign of both this site, The Love Cult of XONRAD, and RockErode Productions.

This redesign is so massive that both sites have been treated as artworks in themselves. There are some sections that are currently showing "Coming Soon" messages in them, but you will find these filled out during the month of January.

You will also find ALOT of art has been removed. The last count was at 209 pieces on display throughout the galleries, this has been trimmed back down to 93.

Lots to come this year... Bask in the glow of the Love Cult baby!!!!
